Ride upon the black horse as power courses through his veins; for the black horse shares a wisdom that only those whose intentions are pure, may be able to gain.

From the depths of my inner being I am inspired by the beauty og the horse. I ride for the lightness, for love, for harmony. Forever will the feeling of the perfect ride be engrained into my soul, my memories, my every breath. This is why I ride and this is who I am.

In the quiet light of the stable, you hear a muffled snort, a stamp of a hoof, a friendly nicker. Gentle eyes inquire “How are you old friend?” and suddenly, all your troubles fade away.

Whoever said money can't buy happiness didn't know where to buy a horse.

I'll lend you for a little while
My grandest foal, He said.
For you to love while she's alive
And mourn for when she's dead.
It may be one or twenty years,
Or days or months , you’ll see.
But, will you, till I take her back,
Take care of her for me?
She'll bring her charms to gladden you,
And should her stay be brief,
You will have treasured memories
As solace for your grief.
I cannot promise she will stay,
Since all from earth return.
But there are lessons taught on earth
I want this foal to learn.
I've looked the wide world over
In my search for teachers true.
And from the throngs that crowd life's lanes,
I have selected you.
Now will you give her total love?
Nor think the labor vain,
Nor hate Me when I come
To take her back again?
I know you'll give her tenderness
And love will bloom each day.
And for the happiness you've known!
Forever grateful stay.
But should I come and call for her
Much sooner than you'd planned
You'll brave the bitter grief that comes
And someday you'll understand.
For though I'll call her home to Me
This promise I do make,
For all the love and care you gave
She'll wait for you, at Heaven's Gate.

Friend

You see that cowgirl sitting up there on the hill? The one staring up at the sky. The one who keeps to herself. They call her the Ice Queen, toughtest of the tough. She can take a hit like a man, she can cut you down with just one look. Works from sun up to sun down. She doesn't back down from much.
Most people see her and walk the other way, never wanting to know that cowgirl.
When you see her around those who call her friend, you wonder why they would ever call her that. Well that ole cowgirl might be hard as nails on the outside but she's really tendered hearted on the inside. She's been hurt many times in many ways over the years. She doesn't trust easy so that make her hard to know.
If you ever get the chance to know her and call her friend you will see a side she trys to hide from the world. You will find she's not as cold as she seems, no she just trys not to show that she's been hurt or to show that she's really very shy.
So before you judge her make sure you know the whole truth cause if not you could miss out on one of the best friends you may ever have. So before you ride on by that cowgirl stop and say 'Hi' you just might get her to show you her smile.......

She doesn't just sit on a horse and ride. She will take a horse, train it, and build a partnership. She will haul in the middle of July to provide for her horses. She doesn't have a second thought to staying up all night with a sick horse or pulling calves. Mud dirt and manure are second nature to her. You will not hear a true cowgirl call herself a cowgirl. She has nothing to prove to anyone. To her it's nothing to brag about its just who she is. She isn't out of place wearing her boots and spurs to Walmart or the Sizzler. She isn't afraid to work the stripping chute at a rodeo or push stock with the boys. Rarely will u see her in the stands if she has half a chance to work with the stock. A true cowgirl doesn't have to say hey y'all I am a cowgirl.
